Ik zal eerlijk zijn: ik heb zitten worstelen met zijn ogen. De gesloten ogen werkten op een of andere manier niet zoals ik wilde, toen heb ik voor een knipoog gekozen, maar ik ben er niet zeker van of het wel echt goed werkt. Ik had niet twee dezelfde knopen, anders had ik dat misschien wel gedaan.
Rupert is naar een patroon van Irene Strange. Deze versie is gemaakt van Rico Creative Cotton met haaknaald 4. De blauwe kleur is petrol, dat komt helaas niet helemaal goed over via mijn fotocamera. De andere kleuren zijn vanille en fuchsia (ik ben helemaal verliefd op die vanillekleur). Mijn hondenforumvrienden noemen hem 'the Angry Owl'. :-)
Finished him yesterday: Rupert the Second. I'll be honest: I have had a lot of trouble with his eyes. Closed eyes didn't turn out as I wanted, so I chose a winking Rupert, but I'm not totally sure if this is it. I didn't have two of the same buttons, or I might have chosen to give him two button eyes.
Rupert the Owl is a pattern by Irene Strange. I made this version of Rico Creative Cotton and with needle size 4. The blue colour is what we call 'petrol'. You can't see it really good because my camera won't show blue and purple colours well. The other colours are vanilla and fuchsia (I am totally in love with the vanilla colour). My dog forum friends call him 'the Angry Owl'. :-)
